Hello Everyone! My name is John Raus, the owner of Pro Impact Soccer Academy, which you will probably see me refer to alot as PISA through out my blogs.
Well, where do we begin. I'm new to blogging, which is even quite the understatement because I really haven't a clue how to start, but we live and we learn, right? So here goes nothing!
For the past couple months I've had the opportunity to coach a tots program at Fairfield Fieldhouse. Now being a soccer coach I've worked with kids of all ages, though coaching tots was relatively new to me. Having co-founded PISA our initial target age was 6 and up. My partner and I have been so excited to pass on our professional experiences and knowledge into the youth, but now were faced with a new challenge. How to start a true grass roots program for toddlers, and make it so fun and unforgettable that they cant wait to come to the next class.
Lucky for me, I love kids, which I know is pretty obvious considering what I do for a living. But its true, just seeing a smile on one of these toddlers faces can make your day. It's been 7 weeks now, and the first session is over, yet I cant wait to get started on the next! Its always hard to say things, in a blog especially that you don't want to sound like some sort of cliche, though there is something so rewarding about making these children happy, having them look up to you, saying thank you coach John..Needless to say, coaching this tots program has been so rewarding, so much fun, and so successful with response to all of the children/parents that we are officially the Tots program of the Fairfield Fieldhouse. I wouldn't trade it for anything and look forward to the next term!
